Identity Management - Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer- Evanston, Direct, 5697

North Suburbs client is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst/Programer with Identity Management.

This is a permanent position.

Client Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a solid background in identity management systems. He or she will be able to work with minimal supervision to determine business needs, implement solutions, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Position Description

-Coordinating and performing activities related to the development, implementation and support of identity management projects. Includes requirements gathering, project planning, coding, testing, documenting and deploying software. 50% of time spent.
-Monitoring production systems, troubleshooting, and providing operational support to internal and external customers as necessary. 20% of time spent.
-Providing instruction and mentoring to other team members as appropriate. 10% of time spent
-Providing analysis, recommendations and technical assistance to business units and schools within the University in support of projects using the central identity management infrastructure. 20% of time spent.
-Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

-A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

-Five years experience in a professional information technology environment with responsibility for developing, customizing, integrating, and deploying ERP software.

-Two years of experience in developing, customizing, integrating and deploying of identity management systems.

-Two years of Java development experienceMinimum Competencies

-Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to explain and interpret complex technology in business terms.

-Able to work collegially within a team environment.

-Can work independently, assuming start-to-finish responsibility for software projects from requirements documentation through deployment.

-Willing to embrace new technologies and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience with SUN Identity Manager software (version 7.0 or higher)

One year of experience with SUN Access Manager/OpenSSO software (version 7.0 or higher)

One year of experience with SUN Directory Server software

One year of experience with NetBeans integrated development environment

Three years of experience in higher education
