BA/PM

Under direction formulate solutions to business problems. Define systems scope and objectives through research combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Develop or modify procedures to solve complex problems within information systems. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Manage IT projects in a team environment.

Other responsibilities include:

· Provide business analysis and project management to deliver software product development including system analysis, documentation of business and technical system processes and procedures, project management of system development and deployment for remediation.
· Provide application and process support and related applications and technologies.
· Work with managers & business owners to set priorities and coordinate work effort with application developers and/or infrastructure team.
· Interact with business community and other IT teams to analyze/clarify business processes to define functional requirements.
· Work with developers on multiple projects, support Quality Assurance team with defining and documenting test scripts/cases, facilitate functional and integration testing with business users.
· Manage communication plans and deployment planning logistics for the product applications which might involve user experience assessment and/or internal end user training and testing.
· Participate in data modeling and data mapping process with developers, DBA, and business data owners.
· Responsible for defining report specifications and some report development.
· Perform ad-hoc data analysis as required by management or users.
· Work closely with other IT team members/groups within the organization in the planning, design, acquisition, configuration and implementation of complex application systems.
· Works under general supervision and may provide specific guidance to others on complex assignments.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
· Over 5 years of direct experience in IT product application development and support.
· BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
· PMI certification or willing to pursue requirements for certification a plus.
· Proficient in IT environment, IT methodology, CMMi, PLC, SDLC, RAD, LSS …in project development life cycle.
· Demonstrated experience in business analysis and project management with web sites, web applications, client application, work flow and enterprise applications support and development, large scaled project management, business process engineering, team management and working experience with web and client applications, Portal Framework, Syndication Feeds, etc are required.
· Experience with data analysis and modeling concepts with RDBMS and/or OLAP.
· Knowledge of data mining tools and report writing skills/ability is required.
· Knowledge of IT technology in system & application architecture: n-tier client server architecture, web architecture, open sources technology, .NET, J2EE, programming languages, operation systems, database solutions and peripheral technology.
· The ability to keep abreast of new and emerging technology is important in the job.
· Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
· Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects by working independently as well as in a team environment.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
· Proven problem-solving skills including diagnostic, research, absorb and retain information quickly in a wide range of technical issues
· Excellent written & verbal communication with the ability to document issues and resolution, training material, FAQ, etc…
· Keen attention to detail.
· Exceptional Customer Service orientation with the interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, questioning skills and delivering information in a friendly manner to customers.
