Sr. Network Engineer
Responsibilities
· 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting mission critical server infrastructure working in a real-time, financial services environment
· Strong knowledge of network architecture design principles, practices, implementation and WAN/LAN maintenance
· Ability to define network TCP/IP protocols, routing, multicast, subnets, DNS and VPN with an ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems
· Experience with network capacity planning, network performance and measurement, diagnostics and debugging; strong understanding distributed systems techniques
· Strong understanding of network security best practices with an eye towards process and procedure improvement
· Experience working with a variety of switches, router, firewalls and network equipment

Requirements
· BS/MS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
· 5+ years experience working in the Information Technology industry, preferably exposure to Financial Services
· CCNP Certification preferred
· Ability to work in cross functional teams
· Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies to meet the changing demands on the business
· Perform advanced troubleshooting, ability to quickly solve complex problems
· Interest in working in a fast-paced, highly technical environment
