C/C++ Application Developer
Job Description
Participate in full life cycle development of a variety of applications, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, enhancement, and troubleshooting. Help our clients improve their business performance. Be a key resource translating and automating our internal processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with project managers and other developers to analyze and refine requirements, design solutions, and produce technical specifications.
Develop, debug, parallelize, tune, optimize, and re-architect general purpose CPU code for parallel architectures.
Develop CPU-based applications that require multi-threading.
Complete application development by designing and conducting tests, contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems.
Support users by developing and maintaining documentation.
Contribute to collective team knowledge by researching new technologies and products as well as keeping up to date with professional publications and maintaining person and professional networks.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
All applicants must have the following qualifications:
· BS, BA, MS or PhD degree
· 3+ years strong parallel programming experience
· Fluent in C/C++ in Windows or Linux development environments
· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
· Application and architecture design experience
· Professional demeanor and ability to comfortably interact with team members and clients
· Analytical and problem solving skills.

Ideal applicants will have the following qualifications:
· Experience porting standard CPU-based C/C++ code to GPU architectures
· Experience working with TIBCO or other messaging systems.
